These terms govern your use of Fine Margins (fine-margins.com), a Test cricket analytics site and game run by Ansh Bansal as an individual, based in the United Kingdom. By using the site, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Fine Margins provides cricket statistics, analysis, editorial articles, and an interactive game based on real Test match data. The figures and models on the site are our own interpretation of publicly available ball-by-ball data. They are produced in good faith and carry uncertainty; they are intended for interest and entertainment, not as a definitive record, and not as betting or financial advice.
You can browse and play much of the site without an account. If you create one, you must:
You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Some content is available through a one-time purchase (the "unlock"). The price is shown at checkout. Payment is handled by Fungies, which is the Merchant of Record and the legal seller of the unlock. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Fungies.
The unlock grants you personal access to the paid content for the account you purchased it on. It is not a subscription; it is a one-time payment. We may add to or change the content over time.
The unlock is digital content delivered immediately. By purchasing, you agree to receive immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the standard 14-day right to cancel once you have accessed the unlocked content. Because of this, sales are final once the content has been accessed.
That said, if something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged but couldn't access the content, a duplicate or accidental charge, or a technical fault — contact us or Fungies and we'll put it right, including a refund where appropriate. Refunds are processed through Fungies as the Merchant of Record.
Please don't misuse the site: don't try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it; don't scrape or copy the data, models, or content for commercial use without permission; and don't attempt to bypass the paid unlock. We may suspend accounts that do.
The site's design, code, models, written articles, and original content are ours. The underlying match data is derived from publicly available sources. Player names, team names and competitions are the property of their respective owners and are used descriptively; Fine Margins is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ICC, any cricket board, competition, club or player.
The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every figure is exact. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
